Reconstitution Guide
All compounds are supplied lyophilised (freeze-dried) unless noted. To prepare a working solution:
- Allow the vial to equilibrate to room temperature before opening (~15 minutes).
- Add sterile bacteriostatic water (BW) or PBS slowly down the side of the vial — not directly onto the powder.
- Do not shake. Gently swirl until fully dissolved.
- For hydrophobic peptides, dissolve first in a small volume of glacial acetic acid (≤10% v/v) or DMSO, then dilute with sterile water.
- Aliquot into single-use volumes to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
- Store reconstituted solution at 4°C and use within 4 weeks.
To prepare a 1 mg/mL solution: add 1 mL of solvent per 1 mg of lyophilised peptide. Verify concentration by UV absorbance (A280) or BCA assay where precision is required. For peptides in aqueous solution (e.g. HCG, HGH), follow specific storage instructions supplied with the vial.
Storage
Lyophilised peptides: stable 24+ months at −20°C, dry, away from light. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. All orders are cold-chain packed — store at −20°C immediately on receipt. Aqueous formulations: store at 4°C and use within 28 days.
